Muklesur Rahman is the Chief Executive Officer of Z & Z Management. He has acquired over 38 years of diversified experience in the Bangladeshi banking industry. One of the most knowledgeable, experienced and versatile bankers, he has been the founder, ex-Managing Director and CEO of two reputed commercial banks, namely NRB Bank Ltd. and Shimanto Bank Ltd. He has successfully launched these two banks starting from the planning and development stage, subsequently leading these organizations for over 9 years, thus creating a strong foundation for future profitability and sustainable growth.

Muklesur Rahman is fully knowledgeable in all aspects of banking operations, especially good governance, international best practices, ethical banking and sustainable growth, factors that differentiate the best banks from the industry average. His experience was gained from 3 reputed multinational banks, i.e. CITIBANK NA, Standard Chartered Bank and Grindlays Bank. He also performed at Eastern Bank Ltd. (EBL), one of the best and most valuable local banking brands in Bangladesh. He worked in top level management positions in all of these banks, especially as Head of Retail Banking at Standard Chartered Bank Nepal and as Deputy Managing Director at EBL, where he led the Consumer Banking Division and Operations.
